Building a governed employee experience platform for Camurus to improve communication, content ownership and access to up to date information.
Camurus is a science-led biopharmaceutical company with headquarters in Sweden. Their key mission is to improve the lives of patients facing severe and chronic illnesses, working hard to develop innovative medicines that will enact long-term improvements for patients and the future of the healthcare system.

Camurus needed a modern intranet that could act as a trusted digital workplace for 300+ employees across the business. Their existing intranet solution had become difficult to manage and use on a daily basis, with users facing issues such as outdated content, complicated information upload and need for a structured framework for future improvements. Employees found it increasingly difficult to find accurate and trusted information, creating a need for clear content ownership between teams.
Search and findability were vital for employees to find the correct information, quickly. Simplified navigation was required to locate content from both the intranet ecosystem and their Microsoft Sharepoint. Engaging communication was another key focus, allowing employees to share important announcements and updates that need to reach certain user groups.

Camurus approached Mosaique and LumApps to develop a platform that could meet their needs and combat their current challenges. They required an intranet that is simple and intuitive for employees to use, integrating their existing tech stack, including Microsoft tools such as SharePoint, Teams and search, as well as utilising Microsoft SSO.
The solution needed to allow employees to easily navigate to specific SharePoint folders, and improve search and findability.
Camurus wanted an efficient hub for quick internal communication, supporting targeted news and employee announcements as well as two-way employee communication. The intranet needed to act as a single source of truth for final, trusted content, with clear ownership assigned for different content areas. Content was to be easier to upload, manage and review, with all applications aligning with Camurus’ internal branding requirements.
Admins and senior stakeholders required access to analytics to assess platform engagement, with the goal to support future growth towards a wider digital workplace strategy.

Mosaique implemented a branded LumApps employee experience platform for Camurus, designed to become the central place for trusted company information, communications, tools and employee engagement.
For Phase 1, the implementation focused on Microsoft integration, including SharePoint, Teams, search and user access. Camurus would continue to use Teams and SharePoint for collaboration and working documents, while LumApps would become the place for final, approved and published content.
The solution gave Camurus a clearer structure for content, stronger governance, improved search, targeted communication and a more engaging user experience.
Mosaique worked with Camurus to implement LumApps as a structured and governed employee experience platform. The implementation included a clear navigation structure to improve the employee experience, with simplified routes of access into the solution. Productive workflows are seamless with integrated tools and content segmentation.
Camurus made strong use of LumApps’ core capabilities, Microsoft integrations and custom design options. The solution harnesses quick, intuitive search capabilities and calls from a diverse tools directory for seamless productivity. Employees stay informed with target news and broadcasts, and internal chats through shared spaces and communities. Content is personalised and ownership is visibly segmented for ease of working. Mosaique also supported additional styling and template updates, including changes to design classes, text alignment, character limits and seasonal branding requirements.
