Kärcher requested a tool to enable closer interaction with owners of their market leading high pressure washers. The aim was also to introduce the product to potential owners as well as profiling the wide range of accessories available. The purpose of the app is to promote the water saving benefits of the high pressure washers through everyday usage (plus some more obscure tasks)!
From shopper profiling and previous experience, findings showed a very proactive customer base and owners generally becoming advocates of the brand. Drawing on this information the application gives the user the ability to record everyday cleaning tasks such as washing your car or driveway as well as creating their own task and showing how much water savings are made, accumulating the results over time with the ability to share and interact. The app was built across multiple platforms containing complex algorithms and matrices and launched on the Android and Apple stores respectively... No pressure!
