FIT show is the industry leading show for the CDW sector (Conservatories Windows and Doors). After several years being held in Telford, the event scaled up to the NEC in Birmingham.

The CDW sector is a market that we have worked in for more than 25 years so we were delighted when our clients Customade Group and GT Window Products once again appointed us to deliver their exhibition stands.

Originally for Customade we were focusing on Atlas and Real - two of their leading products but there were a few moments of anxiety when, six weeks before the exhibition, we learned that Customade had merged into a much bigger group and two new brands - Polyframe and Virtuoso doors - were also going to be at FIT show.

Huge logistical exercise!

So now with a massive 140m of Atlas & Real stand to deliver, and a further 80m or the Polyframe and Virtuoso products, time was of the essence!

Just to make matters a little more interesting issues around group branding were still being debated. As a result, the Mosaique team worked tirelessly designing, re designing and organising two massive stands for the show.

For us, what an  exhibition really boils down to is just one big logistical exercise combining, stand design, video and AV production, new corporate graphics, engineering calculations, liaising with rigging suppliers and lighting engineers, sorting internet connections and a whole host more details to short!

Stunning stands

In the end, both stands looked stunning. At 6m high, the Polyframe/Virtuoso stand towered high in the exhibition hall with the addition of a 3x1m overhead canopy creating further branding opportunities.

Beautifully crafted window product displays with steels in powder coated mid grey looked great across three of the large extended columns and a five door display on the opposite side of the stand created was a stunning sight. A large 50” monitor also gave visitors to stand a preview of the online configurator software which helped engage potential customers.

The Atlas/Real stand was impressive too with its overall graphic wrap. A flat roof display housed a looped video whilst another 32’ monitor inside the Skyroom emphasise the corporate message. Two hanging banners were positioned at 8m above the stand - a branding message on the back lit and illuminated 3x1m tecna banner and the Real aeroplane which was part of the on stand competition. A 9m long runway was laid into the floor across the stand and clients were invited to ‘Fly with Real’. The eventual winner recorded they a 22m flight which happened to land on the Origin stand some way down the hall.

The client was delighted not just with how great the stands looked but, more importantly, the visitor numbers.  The real driver for any exhibition attendance has to be the Return On Investment (ROI). We know that enquiries were significant and certainly up on the previous year so we wait to hear from the client about the potential new business revenue the event created.

The journey to FIT Show for GT Window Products

For GT, we worked with the team to develop a campaign which ended at the FIT Show!  For several months, GT had been working on the launch of a product called GT QuadGuard - a new, revolutionary component that simply and effectively enhances the security of UPVC doors.

The grand unveiling took place at FIT Show and the stand had to reflect the company's innovation plus a heritage for ground-breaking component design spanning more than 20 years. Cleverly lit product displays plus a prominently positioned Quad Bike drew attention to the stand ensuring the team attracted record numbers of visitors across the three-day exhibition.
