Mosaique’s Managing director Dave Handley took centre stage at this year’s POPAI Retail Marketing Conference in London to give delegates an insight into the ‘connected shopper’.

Alongside speakers from famous brands including Unilver, Camelot and TUI, Dave profiled the consultancy’s work for Kärcher. The presentation focused on the award-winning* ‘shop-in-shop’ roll out incorporating our solution to deliver digital and online interaction for shoppers.

The technology took inspiration from our ‘virtual house’, which we developed to profile the different uses for Kärcher products in the home.  

There were several challenges we had to overcome to deliver the brief but that ensured the solution was both effective and robust.

One of the issues was to provide a High Definition (HD) environment in store without the problems caused by download and streaming constraints.

We also wanted to create a version for Karcher’s online retail customers to retain the same user experience across multiple channels without building two separate applications.

We pushed these boundaries by building the application within a browser environment in HTML5 and JavaScript.
